Terms of use for candidates
These terms of use govern self-registration with and use of MedPool by doctors, nursing professionals and life sciences staff who register through the platform for placement services.
This is a translation for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version of this text is the legally binding one.
1. Scope
These terms of use apply to all persons who register themselves as a candidate with MedPool (operated by HR Hunold) in order to be matched by HR Hunold with open vacancies at clinics in Switzerland.
2. Registration and accuracy of the information
By registering you confirm that the data you provide (including name, contact details, specialty, profession, availability) is truthful and complete. For doctors and nursing professionals the following also applies: you confirm that you hold the authorisation required for your profession (MEBEKO recognition or Swiss Red Cross recognition) and upload the corresponding proof to your profile.
You are obliged to keep your details up to date, in particular the expiry date of your authorisation. If your authorisation expires, we cannot propose you for new assignments until it has been renewed.
3. MedPool's services
MedPool matches your profile automatically against open vacancies of a suitable specialty and region and notifies you by email as soon as a suitable assignment is available. For each request you decide yourself whether to accept or decline. The clinic's name and address are disclosed to you only after you have accepted. Conversely, where there is a match, the matching clinic can view your dossier (name, contact details, profile, CV and proof of authorisation) in the clinic portal once it has confirmed our terms and conditions.
MedPool gives no guarantee of a successful placement or that an assignment will come about.
4. No costs for candidates
Registration with and use of MedPool is free of charge for candidates. The placement fee is invoiced exclusively to the clinic.
5. Processing of your data
How MedPool processes your personal data, your CV and your proof of authorisation is described in our privacy policy. By registering you consent to the processing described there.
6. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You can edit your profile yourself at any time and delete your account permanently and on your own in the account settings.
7. Liability
MedPool is not liable for information provided by clinics about open vacancies, nor for the further course of a placed assignment. Otherwise MedPool is liable only for intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to these terms of use
MedPool may amend these terms of use. Existing candidates will be informed of material changes by email.
9. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
These terms of use are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of HR Hunold.
